I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to review another fantastic Holly Swimsuit Mystery by Author Susie Black Death by Surfboard, and this book didn’t disappoint.
Holly, her BFF Queenie, and the other Yenta’s are again in the thick of it. I like her friend “Snip” because she likes to eat, is sarcastic, and has a great sense of humor, and her nickname is so clever, too.
The formula remains the same, but the story changes, keeping the audience on their toes and entertaining us.
The story moves fast, and the dialogue between the Yentas, Holly, and her boss is witty. Holly doesn’t take crap from anyone and isn’t afraid to assert herself. However, I feel Holly needs to think some more before she leaps so that she doesn’t get into so much trouble, but where would the fun be in that?
The author tied up all the loose ends at the end of the story and left this reader satisfied.

Since life without pizza and ice cream as her core food groups wouldn’t be worth living, she’s a dedicated walker to keep her girlish figure. A voracious reader, she’s also an avid stamp collector. Susie lives with a highly intelligent man and has one incredibly brainy but smart-aleck adult son who inexplicably blames his sarcasm on an inherited genetic defect.
