I read this book out of order, and I got confused because I didn’t realize I had read book five before book four. While reading the series is not necessary, reading in order would probably be the better choice.
Holly Schlivnik, the main protagonist, is tenacious, brave, and willing to do what is right for her fellow humans and animals. She is also loyal, trustworthy, and willing to put her life on the line in pursuit of the truth. So, my hats off to her character and the zany tales she provides for the readers.
Holly is determined to ensure the villain is caught, and she gets herself into some interesting and humorous predicaments that often land her in trouble.
Death by Cutting Table is a light and entertaining read that will leave the reader satisfied, as all their questions are answered.

Susie lives with a highly intelligent man and has one incredibly brainy but smart-aleck adult son who inexplicably blames his sarcasm on an inherited genetic defect.
