With a solid set of compelling characters, the series continues to provide insight into the migrant crisis and the importance of people like Nathan who uphold the law.

As a police procedural, Served Cold packs all the right elements to deliver an explosive installment to a successful series.

James L’Etoile uses his twenty-nine years behind bars as an influence in his award-winning novels, short stories, and screenplays. He is a former associate warden in a maximum-security prison, a hostage negotiator, and director of California’s state parole system.
