Love Me with Lies: Book 2
Publication Date: March 17, 2026
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Never Never comes the first book in her fan-favorite Love Me with Lies trilogy, the dark, twisty, unconventional love triangle with an ending you won’t see coming…
When Olivia Kaspen spots her ex-boyfriend in a Miami record shop, she ignores good sense and approaches him. It’s been three years since their breakup, but when Caleb reveals he’s suffering from amnesia after a recent car accident, first she feels regret—and then opportunity. If he doesn’t remember her, then he also doesn’t remember her manipulation, her deceit, or the horrible way she broke his heart. Seeing a chance to reunite with Caleb, she keeps their past, and the details around the implosion of their relationship, a secret.
Wrestling to keep her true identity and their sordid history under wraps, Olivia’s greatest obstacle is Caleb’s wicked new girlfriend, Leah, who’s equally determined to possess the man who no longer remembers her. But soon Olivia must face the consequences of her lies, and in the process discover that sometimes love falls short of redemption.

Author Tarryn Fisher kicks off the Love Me with Lies trilogy in The Opportunist, which features the dysfunctional pairing of Olivia Kaspen and Caleb Drake in college.
Think of it as a “push and pull” sort of relationship. Their relationship in college revolves around Olivia’s prickly nature and uncanny ability to self-sabotage when people get too close.
Full of angst, he Opportunist uses a past/present approach to introduce the characters and illustrate the enduring emotional connection. Olivia’s tendency to fall back on half-truths contributes to much of her heartbreak.
The author once again delivers well-developed characters who serve as the poster children for brokenness. How love can still flicker between Olivia and Caleb is attributed to their intense chemistry.
You definitely want to read the series in sequence to understand how everything fits together. As a reader, I alternated between cheering for the couple and wanting to put tape over Olivia’s sarcastic mouth.
The Opportunist creates an unexpected chance to reconnect, but the aftershocks set the stage for the next installment.
