SOON TO BE A STREAMING ORIGINAL MOVIE!
All she wants for Christmas is a rejection.
Chloe Hollis is done being a people-pleaser. After one too many bad decisions–including a job that asked her to cross a line she couldn’t–she’s determined to change. Her plan? Collect ten nos before Christmas by asking strangers for the most ridiculous favors she can think of.
It should be easy.
But then? Then she meets James.
Instead of shutting her down, the charming out-of-towner keeps saying yes–to Christmas karaoke, to small-town holiday traditions, to every spontaneous, hilarious, totally chaotic idea she throws his way. And the more he says yes, the harder it becomes for Chloe to stick to her plan . . . or protect her heart.
Because James has a reason for saying yes to everything, too–and it might cost them both more than they bargained for.
As their opposite missions collide in a swirl of festive mishaps, unexpected courage, and undeniable chemistry, Chloe starts to wonder if the biggest risk isn’t rejection after all . . . but saying yes to something real.

The Christmas Yes List by Melissa Ferguson is a holiday romcom about an unlikely duo who hit it off and spend more time together than they probably should. It’s being made into a movie and has lots of Christmas feel-good moments.
Chloe is trying to change her people-pleasing persona, and it’s interesting to see how she goes about it. There are quite a few laugh-out-loud moments from some of the activities she participates in and gets others to join her.  There are also some cringe-worthy ones, too. But she and James, whom she met at the airport baggage claim area, seem to be hitting it off. He gets her and isn’t helping her fulfill her Christmas No List, which requires ten rejections by Christmas from strangers; an agreement or acceptance negates a rejection. He’s somehow doing the opposite and seems to need a Christmas Yes List to fulfill changes in himself.
When they’re back in her small town in West Virginia, her path crosses with people she grew up with and most she wouldn’t consider a friend. He keeps his cool throughout, and it’s one of the best days she’s had in three years! We see the small town through their eyes and get the full small town flavor of it throughout. Of course, being Christmas is a bonus for the sights and sounds. All our senses are engaged. Heartwarming moments come as their romance grows, and the epilogue, set a year later, is the icing on the cake.
The Christmas Yes List is filled with Christmas cheer as Chloe and James help each other grow and embrace life in all new ways.
