She’s running from her past. He’s building a future. A little blackmail and few cocktails might just shake things up.

Disgraced socialite Stella Marino’s exile to the sleepy beach town of Destiny feels like punishment-until she strikes a deal with Matt Lancaster, her charming but stubborn coworker. She’ll keep quiet about his pop-up clubs siphoning business from her father’s hotel if he lets her move in.

Matt loves his adopted hometown and dreams of owning a nightclub, but his fiery new boss is testing his patience. And his heart. As workplace clashes ignite unexpected chemistry, they’ll have to decide if risking it all is worth a chance at love.

For fans of workplace romance, opposites attract, and beach-town charm, Stolen Kisses, Roommates, and Small Towns is a slow-burn romance book shaken with heat, stirred with heart, and served with a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

The Review

After a public disgrace, Stella Marino leaves the bright lights of New York City for the small beach town of Destiny, Florida.

Author DL Croisette delivers a fun-filled contemporary romance in Stolen Kisses, Roommates, and Small Towns. It is part of a multi-author five-series set in the same beach town.

Stella’s party girl persona doesn’t fit well under her father’s roof, so an opportunity for alternative housing is high on her list. That’s where Matt Lancaster comes in.

Matt just happens to not only have the space she needs, but he also has a secret that makes him vulnerable. What may have started as a convenient arrangement takes a spicy twist when the attraction heats up.

My name is Amy W., and I am a book addict. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash. As she was gearing up for the "you shouldn't be reading this" lecture, I told her the characters get married in the end. I'm just glad she didn't find the Bertrice Small book hidden in my closet. I have diverse reading tastes, evident by the wide array of genres on my Kindle. As I made the transition to an e-reader, I found myself worrying that something could happen to it. As a result, I am now the proud owner of four Kindles -- all different kinds, but plenty of back-ups! "Fifty Shades of Grey" gets high marks on my favorites list -- not for character development or dialogue (definitely not!), but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. Sylvia Day, Lexie Blake, and Kristin Hannah are some of my favorite authors. Speaking of diverse tastes, I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and J.A. Konrath. I’m always ready to discover new-to-me authors, especially when I toss in a palate cleanser that is much different than what I would normally read. Give me something with a well-defined storyline, add some suspense (or spice), and I am a happy reader. Give me a happily ever after, and I am downright giddy.
