She doesn’t remember what happened. But her body never forgot.
Emily has spent her life outrunning memories she can’t name.
When a car accident shatters the surface of her carefully constructed world, what emerges isn’t pain—it’s terror. Nightmares she can’t explain. Glimpses of a childhood she once believed was ordinary. And a silence that has lasted far too long.
Her husband, Thomas, thought he knew everything about the woman he loved. But as each horrifying memory surfaces, he faces a truth so dark it threatens to consume them both.
While Emily fights to survive the flood of buried trauma, Thomas must become her anchor—even as he begins to unravel himself.
Until She Remembers is a story of trauma, love, and the long road back to a broken self. A haunting descent into the shadows of memory—and the painful climb toward healing.
Unflinching, intimate, and profoundly human—Emily doesn’t just tell a story of survival. It pulls you into the raw spaces between silence and hope and refuses to let go.
Perfect for readers who devour psychological fiction and stories of resilience.

When a car accident abruptly shatters Emily’s carefully built shield holding back traumatic childhood memories, she gets caught in a world of darkness.
Author Becky Sharp delivers a raw story highlighting PTSD in Until She Remembers. Told in a flashback style, the scenes are gritty and often dark.
As a result, Emily proves to be a challenging character. While she’s in the midst of an emotional meltdown, her husband tries to find clues about Emily’s unrevealed past.
From a writing standpoint, the author’s use of fragments works well in the areas where emotions are elevated, but it weakens the overall storyline when used consistently. Additionally, there are some elements that were confusing, such as the significance of the name Ethan and inconsistencies about the mother’s body.
When leveraging suspense to craft a story, details matter. Another round of content editing would strengthen the story’s foundation and deliver the author’s message.
Until She Remembers details the horror a woman faces as she relives painful memories no longer locked away.
