5-STAR REVIEW: STALKERS ANONYMOUS by Dana LeeAnn

The Description

Publication Date: September 1, 2026

Cole Matthews definitely isn’t a stalker. Probably.

Sure, he used company resources and crossed some lines to “have a conversation” with his sister’s abusive ex. But that was a one-time thing. Now, Cole has to attend a group therapy program with a long, clinical name…but the participants? They call it Stalkers Anonymous.

Hailey Brigham is definitely dating the perfect man. Probably.

She’d love to focus more attention on Cole, the smoking hot, ex-military sweetheart whose idea of a casual second date is tandem skydiving. But a drug-seeking patient at the ER where she’s a second-year resident knows too much about Hailey’s personal life, and his fixation on her is getting harder to ignore.

When threats against Hailey escalate, Cole’s protective instincts go into overdrive. To keep her safe, he would do anything-even if it means becoming the monster he’s kept so carefully locked up inside.

Stalkers Anonymous is a dark romance with a morally gray hero, a fierce heroine, and a found family of misfits you won’t see coming (unless they want you to).

The Review

Cole Matthews has a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to his job with surveillance work. All it takes is one step over the line before he ends up in a mandatory group therapy program.

Author Dana LeeAnn delivers a fresh sort of dark romantic comedy in Stalkers Anonymous. While the author warns readers about real-life stalking, it’s much different in the land of fiction.

Couple a man with protective instincts with https://amzn.to/4huU3cga razor-sharp medical resident with a fixated drug-seeking patient, and the die is cast for a high-octane adventure.

Hayley’s introduction to Cole sets the tone as they rescue a fallen climber. Both competent and completely in tune with each other, the sparks are heated. Somewhere down the line, though, Cole faces a challenge that forces him to choose between the old him and the one who follows the rules.

Packed with secondary characters who practice behaviors that illustrate why they need therapy, the storyline includes humor, suspense, and hot romance.

Amy Wilson
My name is Amy W., and I am a book addict. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash. As she was gearing up for the "you shouldn't be reading this" lecture, I told her the characters get married in the end. I'm just glad she didn't find the Bertrice Small book hidden in my closet. I have diverse reading tastes, evident by the wide array of genres on my Kindle. As I made the transition to an e-reader, I found myself worrying that something could happen to it. As a result, I am now the proud owner of four Kindles -- all different kinds, but plenty of back-ups! "Fifty Shades of Grey" gets high marks on my favorites list -- not for character development or dialogue (definitely not!), but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. Sylvia Day, Lexie Blake, and Kristin Hannah are some of my favorite authors. Speaking of diverse tastes, I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and J.A. Konrath. I’m always ready to discover new-to-me authors, especially when I toss in a palate cleanser that is much different than what I would normally read. Give me something with a well-defined storyline, add some suspense (or spice), and I am a happy reader. Give me a happily ever after, and I am downright giddy.
