Cat steals the show as a Maine Coon with a ton of “person-ality.” When she’s injured while in her feline form, it’s Dr. Troy Shelton to the rescue. It soon becomes apparent that there is something very unusual about his new cat. When he meets fashion designer Katerina Kazakis, there’s an instant attraction. Will the Rogue Shifter destroy everything?
I walked away from this book with a big smile because everything about it was engaging. From the cast of characters, including a Djinn, to the witty dialog, this story hit all the right notes. Since I love felines, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing things through Cat’s eyes.
Even though this is the third book in a series, it can be read as a standalone. I’m planning to go back and read the earlier books to learn more about Katerina’s twin sister. A Cat for Troy delivers a satisfying experience from start to finish.
Allie McCormack is a disabled U.S. military veteran, now pursuing her life-long dream of being a writer. Allie has traveled quite a bit and lived many places all over the U.S., as well as a year in Cairo, Egypt as an exchange student, and a year in Saudi Arabia under contract to a hospital in Riyadh. Allie now lives in wine country in beautiful southern California with her family and two rescue cats.
