The members of The Coventry Cove Writers Group enjoy a sense of community at the Coventry Cove +55 Apartments in Riverton, Utah. They came together in 2010 to share stories while fine-tuning their writing skills. They are from different backgrounds, careers, and cultures. But there is one thing they have in common: a love for the written word and family history.
They put themselves to the task of gathering favorite family stories in hopes others of like mind would enjoy them. Travel with them on this winding road of nostalgia. You might even find yourself along the way.

A Note from the Owner of Novels Alive
In July 2014, while visiting at a family reunion, my Great Aunt Mary Alice Slade told me she was working on a biography/memoir with the Coventry Cove Writing Group she began at her retirement apartment. She was a teacher for many years and, at age 93, she is still sharp as a tack. She helped many of the members—all from the Greatest Generation—put on paper their wonderful stories for all to enjoy.
During this journey, she was hospitalized several times, but this didn’t stop her from pursuing her goal of finishing the book. She’s always been an inspiration to me, and I told her I would be delighted to format and publish the book for her as a gift. I hope her tenacity and courage will inspire you as well.
