We are happy to do so!
I have more funny stories to tell about my grandma than you can imagine! She was so gullible, which made it VERY easy for us to tease her. I remember my great uncles talking about teasing Grandma when she was younger as well. Oh, but she was so very sweet.
Your illustrations are gorgeous!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy the illustrations!! And thanks for sharing your story! Sounds like a lot of fun opportunities for well-mannered mayhem 🙂
My mom used to tell me of a story that as a little kid, grandma was coming to visit at Christmas time, and I needed to keep a secret about her gift. Of course, the moment she arrived at our door, I ran up to her and said “Grandma! We got you bedroom shoes!!”
LOL! That is so funny! You sound like me as a kid. Everyone knew you NEVER asked me to keep a secret regarding a gift because I’d be too excited and would always find some way of letting the secret slip. I’m still horrible about allowing “good” secrets slip.
Thank you for sharing,
With grandparent’s day coming on September 13, I hope that you can enjoy the book as well as the trailer. I had fun writing it and look forward to continuing family related stories.
I hope you enjoy the book.
