To save her dying sister…

Lillian Milano channels energy from the healthy to heal the sick, which makes her an incredible nurse. When her sister becomes gravely ill, wealthy computer genius Tristan King is the one man with enough vitality to save her sister’s life. But being near him threatens to expose her secrets and destroy the walls she’s built around her heart.

She bargains with a billionaire.

Tristan doesn’t believe in the supernatural and is wary of emotional entanglements. But his beloved mother is dying, and his lying ex-fiancée won’t leave him alone, so he strikes a deal: In exchange for his help, Lillian must pose as his date for a hospital fundraiser. As the pair work together to save their loved ones, they confront a spiraling web of secrets that threatens their growing feelings for each other. The choices they make will either destroy their lives or heal their hearts.

The Review

Lillian Milano has special DNA that allows her to heal others. It’s a gene that has forced her into hiding to prevent being captured and used in experiments. However, when her sister becomes deathly ill, Lillian must risk everything to help.

Author Amanda Uhl delivers a captivating story in Healing Kiss. Used to being on her own, Lillian needs to tap into additional healing energy to help her sister. She finds that energy in billionaire Tristan King.

The connection between the two is simply electric. Tristan knows there are secrets between them, but he can’t deny there is something special about Lillian’s gift. And if that can help heal his mother, he’s all for it.

It’s a fast-paced story that highlights the fragility of trust. Although finding a happy ending is the last thing on her mind, Lillian can’t help but be attracted to Tristan. However, the couple will have to fight off those determined to use Lillian’s skills.

Healing Kiss delivers a heartwarming story with a paranormal twist, taking readers on an adventure that will leave them with a smile.

My name is Amy W., and I am a book addict. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash. As she was gearing up for the "you shouldn't be reading this" lecture, I told her the characters get married in the end. I'm just glad she didn't find the Bertrice Small book hidden in my closet. I have diverse reading tastes, evident by the wide array of genres on my Kindle. As I made the transition to an e-reader, I found myself worrying that something could happen to it. As a result, I am now the proud owner of four Kindles -- all different kinds, but plenty of back-ups! "Fifty Shades of Grey" gets high marks on my favorites list -- not for character development or dialogue (definitely not!), but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. Sylvia Day, Lexie Blake, and Kristin Hannah are some of my favorite authors. Speaking of diverse tastes, I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and J.A. Konrath. I’m always ready to discover new-to-me authors, especially when I toss in a palate cleanser that is much different than what I would normally read. Give me something with a well-defined storyline, add some suspense (or spice), and I am a happy reader. Give me a happily ever after, and I am downright giddy.
