The Description

Kitty Collins Series: Book 2
Publication Date: January 30, 2025

My name is Kitty Collins and I’m a serial killer.

I don’t want to kill. It’s just so hard to resist. Some men really, really deserve it.

Men like Blaze Bundy, an anonymous influencer spreading misogyny online. He’s making it very hard for me to control my murderous urges.

Meanwhile I’m in the South of France to watch my mother marry a man I’ve never met. I should be drinking cocktails and focusing on my tan, not plotting a murder.

But a woman’s work is never done. Surely one more teensy little kill wouldn’t hurt, would it?The Review

Kitty Collins returns for another adventure that will once again leave readers scratching their heads about whether to cheer for a serial killer.

Author Katy Brent pens the second installment of the series featuring Kitty in I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin. This time, Kitty is on a hunt for Blaze Bundt, an online vocal supporter of rampant misogyny.

It’s important to note that How to Kill Men and Get Away With It probably should be read before this installment. The two books not only share characters, but the first installment sets the tone for Kitty’s rather unusual pastime.

Even as she travels to France for her mother’s wedding, Kitty looks for the dastardly man who taunts her online, only to discover her initial suspicion was way off base.

With all of her rough edges, she manages to show a bit of vulnerability in this sequel. However, that doesn’t stop her from having to face serious consequences.

Amy Wilson
My name is Amy W., and I am a book addict. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash. As she was gearing up for the "you shouldn't be reading this" lecture, I told her the characters get married in the end. I'm just glad she didn't find the Bertrice Small book hidden in my closet. I have diverse reading tastes, evident by the wide array of genres on my Kindle. As I made the transition to an e-reader, I found myself worrying that something could happen to it. As a result, I am now the proud owner of four Kindles -- all different kinds, but plenty of back-ups! "Fifty Shades of Grey" gets high marks on my favorites list -- not for character development or dialogue (definitely not!), but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. Sylvia Day, Lexie Blake, and Kristin Hannah are some of my favorite authors. Speaking of diverse tastes, I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and J.A. Konrath. I’m always ready to discover new-to-me authors, especially when I toss in a palate cleanser that is much different than what I would normally read. Give me something with a well-defined storyline, add some suspense (or spice), and I am a happy reader. Give me a happily ever after, and I am downright giddy.
