5-STAR REVIEW: GOOD FOR HER by Tylor Paige

The Description

Publication Date: April 28, 2026

Falling in love with her first love wasn’t part of her plan. Helping her kill the Hollywood elite wasn’t part of his.

Hollywood loves a comeback. Too bad Evie Reyes didn’t come back to play nice.

Five years ago, she watched her mother—an iconic Final Girl—die on the set of Simon Says. Now, she’s back on the same studio lot, cast as the lead in the reboot no one asked for. But Evie’s not here for fame. She’s here for revenge—and she’s got six names on her list.

Sebastian Shaw is Hollywood’s golden boy, a walking six-pack with just enough charm to disguise the fact that he’s a professional liar. He also happens to be Evie’s ex. When he finds out why she’s really back, he doesn’t try to stop her. He offers a deal: he’ll get her access to each of the men she wants to confront—in exchange for six chances to sleep with her.

No feelings. No strings. Definitely no dates.

As bodies pile up and the on-set accidents get harder to explain away, Evie walks a razor-thin line between staying alive and getting justice. And Sebastian? He might be the only person who sees her clearly—and the one person she can’t afford to trust.

This Final Girl isn’t just surviving—she’s stealing the whole damn show

The Review

Five years after discovering her actress mother dead on the movie set, Evie Reyes returns to Hollywood for revenge.

Author Tylor Paige serves up a unique mix of horror and romance in Good for Her. It packs high-octane heat as Evie reunites with her first love, Sebastian.

With a list of six names, Evie plans to destroy those responsible for her mother’s death. However, she never expected Sebastian to barter his assistance in exchange for six chances in her bed.

The chemistry between them proves even stronger now that they are adults. Their shared movie one-liners, which they use to create their own language, are endearing and help balance the fact that Evie is gearing up for murder times six.

When Final Girl and Psycho Killer team up, expect hot chemistry, playful dialogue, and a second chance at love.

About The AuthorTylor Paige (she/her) is an Amazon Top 3 bestselling author of what her readers have lovingly labeled, whorror.

Tylor is proof that horror doesn’t have to be serious to be effective. It can be self-aware, playful, and at times romantic, while still telling a solid scary story. In blending her passions for both romance and horror she’s not only creating something that’s both risqué and bloody, she’s bridging the gap between the hopelessly romantic and the hopelessly haunted.

My name is Amy W., and I am a book addict. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash. As she was gearing up for the "you shouldn't be reading this" lecture, I told her the characters get married in the end. I'm just glad she didn't find the Bertrice Small book hidden in my closet. I have diverse reading tastes, evident by the wide array of genres on my Kindle. As I made the transition to an e-reader, I found myself worrying that something could happen to it. As a result, I am now the proud owner of four Kindles -- all different kinds, but plenty of back-ups! "Fifty Shades of Grey" gets high marks on my favorites list -- not for character development or dialogue (definitely not!), but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. Sylvia Day, Lexie Blake, and Kristin Hannah are some of my favorite authors. Speaking of diverse tastes, I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and J.A. Konrath. I’m always ready to discover new-to-me authors, especially when I toss in a palate cleanser that is much different than what I would normally read. Give me something with a well-defined storyline, add some suspense (or spice), and I am a happy reader. Give me a happily ever after, and I am downright giddy.
