As a true crime podcaster, Dakota would love nothing more than to delve into the life and times of Francis Hoyt. The author spends time developing Dakota as a character, so she comes to life when Hoyt approaches her. Although she thinks the narrative is in her control, she doesn’t realize Hoyt calls the shots.
The heat gets turned up when Hoyt’s job to rob a mob vault goes terribly wrong, and he finds himself in the crosshairs of the mob. Forced to regroup, Hoyt makes an explosive choice to protect his freedom.
Man on the Run delivers a fascinating perspective of a man who is essentially the ultimate criminal. Francis Hoyt must use all his skills to find a way out.
